VOLUNTEER

As the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Colombia, we welcome and celebrate the unique contributions made by different volunteers who come from our Fellow Missionaries in and out of Colombia. This is a new area of work that we are in the organizational process so we invite you to check this website frequently for updates.

Of course, we are inviting volunteers to teach English in our four Lutheran elementary and secondary schools. Given the availability of virtuality as a global tool for community and connectivity, volunteers will be able to help Colombian teachers who already teach English to strengthen the areas of pronunciation, grammar, writing. introduce games and Christian music. As the schools operate based on a February–November calendar, by the end of November 2022 we will be sharing specific instructions regarding schedules, other logistical and practical recommendations.

Face-to-face volunteering to teach English in Lutheran schools are also open. If you are interested in either of these two volunteer opportunities, please contact us via email or telephone. Other volunteer areas will be advertised by this website.
