FCE Scholarships

Beginning in 2020, time in which Fundacion Camino de Emaus formally became the Foundation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Colombia, our commitment to formal education and Christian leadership formation has entered into a new phase. Celebrating our history and the ever-new joy of the first cents offered by 12 Sunday school children of Trinity Lutheran Church in Edgemont South Dakota, Fundacion Camino de Emaus will continue to facilitate the professional training of 12 university students.

 As an integral part of their professional vocation, these students assume the responsibility to be formed as Christian leaders who are committed to their families, congregations and Colombian society in general. This is a strategic and administrative decision given the fact that the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Colombia is already highly blessed with the Finland Evangelical Lutheran Mission Scholarship Program-FELM which already covers primary, secondary and university education. 

Beyond this specific goal and as we move forward, our larger mission will include facilitating mission projects specific to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Colombia.
